The model looks quite well in a photograph but it's impossible to really capture the way it glitters in the light, it's best viewed in person. The paper holds its shape well and feels a bit stiffer than you would expect. It is a bit thicker than home made tissue foil but much better to work with, reversing creases is much easier. It's not at all like tissue foil you make at home, it has a completely different feel. The other side is matt, light brown and has a subtle cloudy texture, it could be used to make an interesting double coloured model but I used it for a model that only shows one side of the paper so it's not visible.
